Director of Business Development/VP – U.S. Public Sector

As Director of Business Development/VP with Galorath, you will help build our U.S. Public Sector market share by selling Galorath’s transformational program, engineering, and data analytics services that drive measurable outcomes to our clients who are responsible for organization cost and financial management operations. You will identify, build, and nurture lasting relationships with new and existing clients.

You work closely with our strategic partners to identify joint business opportunities to increase customer value and drive revenue growth in your market sector. Your role involves helping to shape and deliver on a strategy that focuses on customer success, building relationships as a trusted adviser, and driving broad use of management technologies and processes to shape the future of our industry.

You also have a strong desire to learn about the growing program operations, engineering, cost estimation, and data analytics, including the ever-evolving cost management services and technology landscape, and use this software, IT, hardware, manufacturing, and systems engineering knowledge to create an exciting and engaging customer message. To thrive in this role, you will help keep Galorath at the forefront of industry trends, informed of the competitive landscape, and continually improve our brand in the marketplace.

 

Job Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to secure Secret Clearance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Federal procurement process
  • Experience with working with HubSpot, Deltek or other CRM for account and opportunity management.
  • Bachelor’s degree - preference in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is required.   Master’s degree desired.

 

Skills:

  • Six to 10 years of experience managing business development for a services organization.
  • Demonstrated product sales experience, selling professional services, within large enterprise customers. 
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex Enterprise clients.
  • Extensive experience building and managing strong relationships with stakeholders at various seniority levels.
  • Strong influential and collaboration skills, ability to engage and influence with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a common mission.
  • Outstanding verbal, written communication, and listening skills with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining good rapport and discretion in communicating with the public, stakeholders and employees. 
  • Analytical, creative and a strategic problem solver, demonstrating strong business acumen with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for driving solution adoption. Travel - with a diverse range of clients spanning CONUS, individual will be traveling throughout the year attending client meetings as well as conferences promoting Galorath’s Services Catalog.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for generating new revenue by prospecting, identifying, and closing new business and new logos to help drive U.S. Public Sector market share.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to aggressively grow the current account base and acquire key target accounts.
  • Build and manage relationships with decision-making CXO level executives as well as program and cost management decision-makers/influencers and business stakeholders.
  • Form collaborative relationships with Galorath's network of strategic partners to identify new business opportunities and increase customer value.
  • Generate continued demand for Galorath’s consulting, engineering, and operational support services within client accounts by developing trust, delivering value and a deep understanding of strategic business initiatives.
  • Define Galorath’s relationship strategy within accounts, including engaging with the senior leadership team, coordinating business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • As a collaborative leader with the teams in your accounts, you will support our way of working to ensure we achieve our team and organizational KPIs pertaining to quality service delivery, exceptional customer experience, and account growth.
  • Assist in the development of use cases, collateral, formal case studies and press releases highlighting Galorath’s solution success.

Plus Experience

  • Prior sales or engineering experience supporting Government Cost Analysis organizations.
  • Working knowledge of GAOs Cost Estimation Best Practices.
  • Experience selling into the Federal government
